[0001] FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to vehicle optical units which comprise at least one socket lamp. The term "lamp" here means a device producing photons and participating in a vehicle optical unit to at least one lighting or signaling function, and / or a decorative lighting effect. Some vehicle optical units, possibly of the automotive type, comprise a housing having a rear wall provided with a hole allowing the passage of a front portion of a lamp, possibly quarter-turn type. The socket being located outside the housing, it is found, just like the harness that feeds it, exposed to water (rain, washing or projection). To prevent this water from entering the housing through the hole, it is equipped with a seal. But despite this seal, some of the water flows directly over the socket and manages to penetrate the housing. In an attempt to improve the situation, it has been proposed to define on the rear face of the rear wall of the housing a closed circular wall surrounding the (socket) hole and intended to prevent direct water flow on the socket. Unfortunately, as is known to those skilled in the art, this closed wall induces a retention of water on its internal face, which can cause unpleasant odors and / or allow water to enter the housing. The invention is therefore particularly intended to improve the situation. It proposes for this purpose an optical unit intended to equip a vehicle and comprising a housing comprising a rear wall provided with a hole, suitable for allowing the passage of a socket of a lamp, and, on a rear face, a protrusion surrounding this hole by defining for a socket of this lamp a wall of protection against water. 3036169 2 This optical unit is characterized in that the protrusion of its housing comprises, in a lower part, at least one opening adapted to allow an automatic evacuation of water present on an inner face. With this (each) opening, the water can no longer stagnate on the inner face of the protuberance and therefore no longer runs the risk of causing unpleasant odors and / or entering the housing. The optical block according to the invention may comprise other characteristics that may be taken separately or in combination, and in particular: the protuberance may be a wall substantially perpendicular to the rear face of the wall of the housing and having a first sub-portion surrounding the hole (socket) on an angular sector which is strictly less than 360 ° in order to define the opening, and extended by a second sub-portion shaped so as to guide the water into an evacuation zone located under the lower part ; the second sub-part may be at least partly rectilinear; the second sub-portion may comprise a curvilinear lower end; the rear face of the rear part of the housing may also comprise, in the evacuation zone, a deflecting wall capable of transferring the water into at least one other evacuation zone; the deflecting wall may have a general shape of circumflex accent so as to transfer the water into two other evacuation zones; - Alternatively, the baffle wall may have a general shape of inclined comma. The invention also proposes a vehicle, possibly of automobile type, and comprising at least one optical block of the type of that presented above.
[0002] Other features and advantages of the invention will appear on examining the detailed description below, and the accompanying drawings (obtained in CAD / DAO, hence the apparently discontinuous character of certain lines), 3036169 3 on which FIG. 1 schematically illustrates, in a perspective view of the rear side, an exemplary embodiment of an optical block according to the invention, FIG. 2 schematically illustrates, in a perspective view of the rear side, a part of the rear wall of the optical block of Figure 1, Figure 3 schematically illustrates, in a front view of the rear side, a first variant of the optical block of Figures 1 and 2, and Figure 4 illustrates schematically in a front view of the rear side, a second variant of the optical block of Figures 1 and 2.
[0003] The object of the invention is notably to propose an optical block BO intended to equip a vehicle and comprising at least one socket lamp LE. In the following, it is considered, by way of non-limiting example, that the optical block BO is intended to equip a vehicle of automotive type. But the invention is not limited to this type of vehicle. It concerns indeed any type of vehicle comprising at least one optical unit lamp (s) socket. It will be noted that the optical block BO can be both a headlight (or headlight), a rear light. FIG. 1 shows schematically an exemplary embodiment of a BB box of an optical block BO according to the invention. Note that this BB housing is intended to be fixedly coupled (for example by screwing or gluing) to an ice (not shown) which can be made of plastic (or synthetic) transparent or glass. This ice and this BB box delimit an internal space at least partially housing at least one lighting device comprising a DL lamp with a DL socket and participating in at least one lighting or signaling function, and / or a decorative light effect. . The DL socket is for example arranged to be coupled to the BB housing by a rotation of about a quarter turn. But in a variant 30 it could be arranged to be coupled to the BB housing by screwing. Moreover, this DL socket constitutes the rear part of the lamp LE, which comprises a front part intended to deliver photons in the internal space of the optical block BO. In addition, the DL socket is intended to be supplied with current by an electric harness FE. In what precedes and what follows, the notions of "before" and "backward" qualify relative positions of parts of an element of the optical block BO with respect to the ice which allows the photons to be released to the camera. outside the vehicle. Therefore, the front part of an element is closer to this ice than the rear part of this same element. Likewise, in what precedes and what follows, the notions of "inferior" and "superior" describe the relative positioning of parts of an element of the optical block BO with respect to the floor of the vehicle. Consequently, the lower part of an element is closer to this floor than the upper part of this same element. As illustrated, the BB housing has a rear wall PR which is provided with a TT hole adapted to allow the passage of the front portion (delivering the photons) of the lamp LE. Furthermore, this rear wall PR comprises a rear face FR on which is defined a protuberance PP surrounding the hole TT (DL socket) by defining for the DL socket of the lamp LE a protective wall against water (from rain, wash or spray). This definition of the protuberance PP preferably results from the molding of the BB housing in a plastic (or synthetic) material. But the protuberance PP could possibly be reported fixedly (for example by welding or gluing) on the rear face FR of the rear wall PR of the BB housing. It will be understood that the front part of the lamp LE is introduced into the hole TT, via the rear face FR of the rear wall PR, until it is housed in the internal space of the optical block BO and that the sleeve DL is fixedly coupled to the BB housing, for example by a rotation of about a quarter turn. It will be noted that preferably at least one seal is provided around the hole TT, on the side of the rear face FR, to prevent the entry of water into the housing BB. According to the invention, and as illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the protuberance PP comprises, in a lower portion PI, at least one opening OE which is adapted to allow an automatic evacuation of water 3036169 5 present on an inner face FI (according to the FO arrow of Figures 2 to 4). The inner face FI of the protuberance PP is that which is oriented towards the hole TT. Due to the presence of at least one opening OE in the lower part PI of the protuberance PP, the water can no longer stagnate on the inner face FI of the latter (PP) and therefore no longer risk causing odors unpleasant and / or enter the BB box. Note that in the non-limiting example illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the lower portion PI of the protuberance PP comprises only one opening 0E. But in an alternative embodiment it could include several (at least two) openings 0E. In order to facilitate the evacuation of the water, the protuberance PP may, as illustrated without limitation in FIGS. 1 to 4, be a wall substantially perpendicular to the rear face FR and comprising first SP1 and second SP2 subparts which extend. The first subpart SP1 surrounds the hole TT on an angular sector which is strictly less than 360 ° in order to define the opening 0E. The second part-part SP2 is shaped so as to guide the water (along the arrow F0) into a discharge zone ZE which is located under the lower part P1.
[0004] As illustrated in non-limiting manner in FIGS. 1 to 4, this second subpart SP2 may be at least partly rectilinear. Note that in the example of Figures 1 and 2 the second subpart SP2 begins with a rectilinear portion and ends with a curvilinear lower end. On the other hand, in the examples of FIGS. 3 and 4 the second subpart SP2 is completely straight. In an alternative embodiment not illustrated, the second subpart SP2 could be entirely curvilinear. In another variant embodiment not illustrated, the second subpart SP2 could comprise several curvatures, for example to avoid or bypass an element of the optical block BO or the rear face FR of the rear part PR of the housing BB. It will also be noted, as shown in nonlimiting example in the example of FIGS. 1 and 2, that the second subpart SP2 can extend at least a little under the first subpart SP1. This makes it possible to offset the evacuation zone ZE with respect to the opening 0E. It will also be noted, as illustrated without limitation in the examples of FIGS. 3 and 4, that the rear face FR of the rear portion PR of the housing BB may comprise, in the discharge zone ZE, a deflecting wall PD which is suitable for transferring the water into at least one other evacuation zone ZE'j. This option is intended to prevent the water discharged from falling on an element located substantially directly below the discharge zone ZE. This deflecting wall PD may have different shapes as soon as they allow to deflect (or transfer) the evacuated water. Thus, in the example shown non-limitatively in FIG. 3, the deflecting wall PD has a general shape of circumflex accent (or inverted V) so as to transfer the water into two other evacuation zones ZE'1 and ZE'2 (j = 1 or 2). The left part of the circumflex accent 15 PD makes it possible to evacuate the water to the left (according to the arrow F1), while the right part of the circumflex accent PD makes it possible to evacuate the water to the right (according to the arrow F2). This makes it possible to distribute the flow and the water flow to the left and right of the discharge zone ZE. In the example shown non-limitatively in FIG. 4, the deflecting wall PD has a general inclined point shape. The lower (substantially rectilinear) portion of the inclined point PD makes it possible to evacuate the water along the arrow F1 (here to the left of the discharge zone ZE for example), while the upper curvilinear part of the PD sloped point makes it possible to prevent the water bouncing on the bottom portion 25 behind the deflecting wall PD and falls on an element that the latter (PD) is intended to protect. It will be noted that the deflecting wall PD can also be used to significantly modify the direction FO of evacuation of the water. It will also be noted that the deflecting wall PD preferably results from the molding of the BB housing in a plastic (or synthetic) material. But the deflecting wall PD could possibly be fixedly attached (for example by welding or gluing) to the rear face FR of the rear wall PR of the housing BB.
[0005] The invention thus makes it possible not only to prevent stagnant water in the zone where the lamp socket is installed, but also to precisely control the flow (and possibly the flow rate) of the water so that It is not random (s) because of an appropriate definition of the protuberance (and the possible deflecting wall) in the study phase.
